Linguistic Challenges


These are sections of text that need creative adaptation due to nuances, ambiguities, cultural references, idioms, and game-specific terms.

These get the most attention from the localization team to make sure they connect with the target audience while keeping the original intent of the game. 

The main translator of each language and the lead translator mark these sections for focused review by the whole team.

You can imagine these as the packaging warning symbols that we all know. Fragile, handle with care, this way up, caution.
